C'est là où nous arrivons à des difficultés de zones culturelles. Jusqu'à la fin du 19e siècle la Vieille Bulgarie comprenait la région de Macédoine composée des subdivisions actuelles du Pirin (Macédoine bulgare), Macédoine du Nord et Macédoine grecque. Le tout formait une seule région culturelle.
Aujourd'hui les chants et danses sont restées enclavées dans les frontières actuelles. Hellénisés donc en Macédoine grecque, il existe donc des chants et danses que l'on retrouve dans ces 3 régions culturelles actuelles, en grec pour la Macédoine grecque, en bulgare et maleshevko dans le Pirin et macédonien en macédoine du Nord (et ses divers dialectes).
This is where we come to the difficulties of cultural areas. Until the end of the 19th century Old Bulgaria contained the region of Macedonia composed of the current subdivisions of Pirin (Bulgarian Macedonia), North Macedonia and Greek Macedonia. The whole formed a single cultural region.
Today the songs and dances have remained confined within the current borders. Hellenized therefore in Greek Macedonia, there are therefore songs and dances that can be found in these three current cultural regions, in Greek for Greek Macedonia, in Bulgarian and Maleshevko in the Pirin and Macedonian in North Macedonia (and its various dialects ).
